Received my PAD a day early. That's awesome.
The two Stanwells are fantastic. Big Been Scorpio is a lot smaller than what I was anticipating. Still, looks like a great little pipe for clenching in the wood shop or while working in the yard. And I still love it's shape.

Thanks, yes very nice Stanwells. These are my first Stanwells. I am pleasantly surprised. I was sure niño thing could match the quality of my Savinelli pipes. Having a second thought on that new in terms of craftsmanship.
Still need to see how they smoke but as with any new pipe for me I gotta have some viewing time like sitting and looking at a piece of art.

Whats the diameter of the airway on the Stanwells? How's the v-slot and button?

Very nice pipes. I have several Stanwellls and a dozen or so Savinellis. I'd say the Stannies are every bit as good as the Sav's.
