i just had a wonderful smoke in a WDC Royal Demuth pipe. The nomenclature states that it is DERESINOPROCESSED. I believe that it has something to do wthy the interior of the bowl. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi dkaye201,
The "De Resino" process was WDC's trademark name for their process of removing resin from the briar. Since this was used on pipes in their Milano line predominately (but not exclusively) I think they chose the Italian phrase for de-resonate for their trademark.
Since they were marking pipes with this process name the same time they were using patents owned by David Levites, I'm hypothisizing that they were using his patented method for resin removal. All of the pipes that used his patents (that I have seen) carry the "De Resino" marking which lends to this theory.
Hope that helps answer your question.
