Went to the antique mart again this past weekend and dug this Wally Frank Snorter Pocket pipe(Pipe of the Month) out of a bin of pipes. It was the nicest/most interesting one there. Huge bowl after a reaming. But was missing a huge chunk from the stem. I cut it off and reshaped a new button. Need to work out the few scratches on the buffer, but its usable now.

Btw, its smokes great.

Awesome find! Congratulations. I've searched every antique mart, consignment store, etc within a 60 miles radius of me and it seems no one has ever heard of a pipe!

There are usually a few pipes here and there, most are Medico/Grabow and they are usually beyond saving. I get lucky once in a while.

Thanks everyone. Allan, I find I'm pretty handy on most things, so why not with refurbs on pipes. I saw someone on here do the same(can't remember who)but it inspired me to not overlook a nice pipe even if the stem is a bit damaged.
