Tired of the political campaigns? Well Standard Tobacco is providing you with two new candidates to consider. On November 8th you can buy either War Horse Bar in the red tin or War Horse Green - the non partisan choice brought to you from Pipes and Cigars!

Yes, both is a choice! At least for tobaccos.....

Two questions, will these only be available through p&c, or will other internationally friendly firms like 4noggins get to sell them as well?
Out of the two fine candidates you have to choose from, which tobacco do you think would best suit them? Viewing from afar I'd say both Hilary & trump have 'merde de cheval' written all over them. Just as well we have a high standard of tobacco as opposed to the poor standard of politicians available.

    No, they're certified ass kickers.

That would be a refreshing change, but there are a lot of obsessives who have been waiting and waiting by their computer, abandoning their lives and families in their maniacal pursuit of nicotine poisoning. They're not going to limit themselves to a puny 20 tins.

Congrats on getting the stuff out the door. Will there be more production runs?

What we've received is less than half the initial order, so much more is coming, and if early sales are really strong (which we expect), we'll place another order well before the first run is gone.

Any licensed tobacco retailer in the US can buy these tobaccos for resale. We already know that SmokingPipes is on board.

I may get only a couple of tins to share with the pipe club members. I'm leaving the rest for you guys to fight over. That being said, this is NOT a one off production run. We plan to be in it for the long run.

Sure, sure, sure, not a limited production. I get it plenty more where that came from, gotcha, :::nudge nudge::: say no more, say no more. No rush on the War Hose, he says, yep, yep, yep. Besides, I have nothing else planned to do that day.

    Mine is.

But I'm only interested in a tin, whenever. Not being a heavy NIC fan, this isn't my kind of product. That said, I'm curious to taste it but if I never pick up a tin, it won't ruin my life. No dog in this hunt.

I can't buy war horse bar because it's out of stock online and the normal war horse was kind of a typical every day English blend that was over priced. Still interested in a bar/plug version though.

I will check with Pipes and Cigars today to see if they have opened the pre-order link so you can get your orders in before the kick off date. Believe you me when I say this stuff is 'da sh*t' and you will be addicted after one bowl full. I know I am and I smoke some pretty questionable blends as you all well know.

We talked about going to the Vegas show again. I had a great time there last year, handing out Standard Tobacco blends by the bucket load. But with the new FDA regs, those free samples are now illegal. That would leave us standing behind a table for two days, with a bunch of empty "show" tins, telling you that you really, really, really should try the stuff that should be in these tins. Not a very effective use of our time.

Dan we couldn't see the point of 'scratch and sniff' pictures of tobacco especially after the Chicago Pipe Show 'Free Car Air Freshner' cards we handed out so your car would smell like the Chicago Pipe Show for a week. We had a couple of people complaining they didn't work!

The Green has more of a menthol-like flavor, more similar to Condor, IMO.

No menthol? Then why does the government even care? NO Menthol? NO Menthol? But I wanted a cool smoke without using better techniques or a quadruple calabash.

menthol-like, as in Condor. I didn't think there was actual menthol in there, just a more cooler flavor. Eh, I can't describe it without using the word menthol, ha ha. Which can be a trigger word for some folks.

Exactly. Which is why I'm saying that there isn't any menthol in it.

We did add old cigarette butts, lead paint chips and top soil from Love Canal. though.

I would say more of anisette flavor in the W.H Green. It does contain butts from Kool Kings unfiltered cigarettes and some tractor tires but don't let than concern you if you inhale!
