Another idea is stop by your local antique store and browse the ubiquitous piles of old Life magazines. Some of them have full page pipe and tobacco ads you can cut out, mount and frame.

Posters would be very cool, and they have excellent crisp scanning nowadays at the print shop, I've never had it done though.
For normal sized stuff, I agree with tuold, find the old magazines, especially the oversized ones like Life, and the printing quality is top notch --- I have a few old copies of Punch with absolutely beautiful printing but the ads are small.
The sellers on eBay who cut out ads and sell them for like $10+ really piss me off, there are many I've seen that I'd like to have, but dammit if I'm gonna pay that extortion rate, I'd rather seek out the whole magazine which can usually be found for the same price as one of the cut-out ads...

While recently looking for a Wally Frank catalog I came across these images online. They may help if you are simply looking for photocopies.
