Has anyone ever smoked a Medico Ventilator pipe? I just got and old one in good shape today. How can I tell how old this thing is? I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet, I got it with some old beat up pipes. sorry I can't ever get pics to work. Thanks Ace57.

To me they are just another wingding to catch the attention of gadget oriented smokers. I have owned them and they smoke OK.

I've had a couple of them Ace. They cannot be smoked without a filter!! I liked mine OK but decided to make tampers outa them. Both ended up being bought by the same guy! I'm thinking they are probably from the 60's-70's.

I love the look of them, big fan of Medico. And I believe these use a paper tube not unlike the Carey "Magic Inch"; those gills on the side would negate any airflow unless they were covered.
