Unsmoked Wellington

I just won this pipe on eBay. With the rounded nickel band it looks like a more upscale model. No P-lip. Army mount stem. Fishtail bit is probably slotted. My guess is 1930s. It needs a light cleaning but hasn't been smoked. I put in a low bid and was kind of surprised to win. It should be a good one.

Cool pipe! I just won my first wellington as well. I bid on it and forgot about it. No one bid against me. Its the p lip style though. Now I need a peterson system and a kaywoodie chesterfield

I bought one too. I wanted to look like Lee Van Cleef. I also bought a big one.

I have not smoked either of them. Has anyone smoked these? How are they?

@Stanlaurel, I haven't smoked one yet but my buddy loves them. He has all 3 sizes. I need to get a churchwarden but the prices on them are though the roof right now.
