Show us your ugly pipe. The pipe must be a functional smoker and belong to you.
Winner gets a free tin of Dunhill.

This isn't a PM contest, just my idea. We'll go with majority rules. Whatever pipe gets the most flak wins. Next Wednesday I'll count the votes.

Last time we did this I came in second. Couldn't beat pipeguy's brutally hideous piece of briar.

If that's a nomination, I second. (Sorry, papipeguy, LOL.)

I think we have a winner already. That's some serious ugly there. I can hardly wait to here Hunter's remarks.

Ok, I'll put up a pipe I made after being inspired by some of Olie Sylvester's designs. Kind of a Frankenpipe make from left over parts and a little copper tube.

I call it the Witch's finger, it's an Uwe Maier Halloween pipe.

I have one or two pipes that might be called plain, but nothing in this league. Takes ugly to a whole new level.

Daimyo I wouldn't say that pipe is ulgly. Creepy was my first thought. One hell of a carving, but creepy. The maker has some serious skill.

Peck, I've seen your collection and the word ugly has never crossed my mind.

    @daimyo
That is definitely a Halloween pipe!
Creativity to a new level with the nail mouthpiece...

All pipes above look having some sort of character to me, not to be called ugly.

Most of my pipes are beautiful but the face smoking them tends to lower property values.

I always have great faith in my Harcourt for this type of contest but, Daimyo, that thing is positively hideous.

    Blowin' smoke since 1970.

Nobody has a problem showing off their favorite shiny gems, but they are too shy to show their ugly pipes? C'mon guys everybody has one. Peck, the S Bang with a darkened rim doesn't count. I guess we can pick a winner this weekend if there are no objections.

I have a few hideous pipes that I love to smoke. Here's a few.

    Kaywoodie Ruff Tone. (accurately named)

Was a Lovat, now its a nose warmer. I snapped the shank off. D'OH !

Actually I have been thinking what matching tobacco should be put into daimyo's Frankenstein Finger Halloween pipe, especially during Halloween.

Woohoo! As a long time horror movie and literature fan I must say that a little ugly pointed in the right direction, can go a long way. Thanks for the chance Daniel.
