Here are two pipes a carved myself from kits. The first one was carved from a Pimo kit and the second from a Tinsky kit. Both were carved using only hand tools and sandpaper. They both are great smokers.

Yes sir and a lot of work lol.
I used a dremel tool, rasps, files, and sand paper. All that work made me appreciate them more!

Are those are your first two pipes self made? Even if they aren't, they are terrific. Great job! The diamond shank is particularly beautiful.

I think those look great! I would buy them in a store

Very Artful and Fine work. Much like catching a trout on a rod you made and fly you personally tied, puffing or sipping on your personal hand-builds must give added dimension, enjoyment and contemplation to the your smoking experience. Keep on creating and keep the forum posted on your progress.

Awesome work Baskerville; love the way the grain pops on the first pipe (PIMO Kit I believe?) - what did you use as your finish? I've got a couple of (varnished) pipes that I would like to try sanding down and refinishing.
