Scientists are saying there's cancer trigger caused by the brain's response to switching on sudden bright lights at night.

    Per the article:

"If you want to get up to go to the toilet, you should avoid reaching for the light switch. There are some plug-in lights that just glow, that are safe and you could use them as an alternative."

Will anyone follow this advice? Could you stomach anyone that would? Most importantly, can we now say "Screw it, it's hopeless!" and go back to smoking in peace?

Hmmmm how do I get grant to study something like this .

“There was an awful suspicion in my mind that I'd finally gone over the hump, and the worst thing about it was that I didn't feel tragic at all, but only weary, and sort of comfortably detached.”

I have a night light in my bathroom.

I've always been crazy but it's kept me from going insane.

Hmmm... let me see increase the likelihood that I might get cancer by turning on the light... or the ration of BS I'm going to catch from my wife if I regularly miss my target in the dark... case closed let there be light!

Phil... It’s always nice to receive guidance from someone as old and experienced as you.

How about we all agree to pee-pee before we go to bed?

I find myself sitting idly on the line dividing past and future,

Whiskey needs no sleep - therefore no issue!
(Sez he as he stumbles out of bed - crunches toe in bedpost - pisses on cat and wakes up household so all can enjoy!)
