Those little disks to be put in pouches and jars to keep tobacco moist: how long do they need to be soaked in water to be effective?
I've been using these things for years, but I don't think I've ever heard specific instructions on how long to soak them. I have heard that distilled water is best, but I live in the boonies and our water comes from a well - no chlorine or chemicals, but some natural mineralization.
Thanks!

Thanks, everybody! And, I think mikephillips came up with the marketing idea of the century -- convince women that tobacco is great for moisturizing the skin and not only will they be more tolerant of our pastime, but tobacco taxes will be lowered to be more in line with cosmetics. :P
