Four blends
Dutch blend

The blend has a very pure tobacco flavour. It is dry and harsh and comes from dark-fired and Virginia tobacco.

Sometimes the blend includes a minor amount of spice tobaccos - Flavour characteristics: Genuine, spicy.
English blend

The blend is full-bodied, moist and contains spice tobaccos.

Sometimes it has fruit and/or flower flavouring - Flavour characteristics: Spicy.
Scandinavian blend

The blend is mellow to medium-bodied. It is flavoured with liqueur, fruits, vanilla and/or many other flavours.

Occasionally, spice tobaccos are added - Flavour characteristics: Spicy, sweet, fruity, liqueur.
American blend

This blend is mellow and very moist. It is heavily flavoured with vanilla, nougat, cherry and/or occasionally other flavours - Flavour characteristics: Sweet, fruity, liqueur.

Scandinavian Tobacco Group A/S acquires premium pipe tobacco brands
Scandinavian Tobacco Group A/S has closed a deal to acquire certain pipe tobacco trademarks and designs from Dunhill Tobacco Company of London Limited, a subsidiary of British American Tobacco p.l.c. Included in the deal are premium pipe tobacco trademarks such as Early Morning Pipe, Nightcap, Royal Yacht and Elizabethan Mixture that were previously sold under the Dunhill brand and carry a solid reputation as well as premium positioning. The price paid is confidential, but immaterial.
