Dave, what dye and which color(s) did you use? And how did you dilute or apply it?

Would you share with us?

I have only 1 Fiebing dye color (medium brown) but am thinking which other color I should get for some of those more orange colored, British tan, or reddish brown pipes. I know the effect of these dyes on leather is a bit different from when they are on briar.

Unbelievable! Is that the pipe from another thread with the Peterson and Sasieni. Inherited from his father I think?

I love it! Excellent job with the briar dust and retaining the bead rings, that must have been tricky. What a sweet little Rhody! The diminutive size makes it even more endearing.

Extremely good work.
Are you the poster formerly known as danielplainview? (I've seen some threads address you as "daniel" and I heard this plainview guy did great work, and here is this Dave doing fantastic restorations, so....?)
