I just realized Sunday when I smoked my 2007 St. Patricks Day Peterson that I have been smoking a pipe for nine years. My first REAL pipe was a Peterson 314 Donagal Rocky I bought from the Briary online in 2004 with some 1Q. They also sent a sample of highlander, it was a good smoke too. I eventually sold the pipe on ebay after I got a few more pete's. I even have another 314 Donagal rocky but it's not the same as my first pipe. It looks more slender. It just doesn't seem that long and I'm glad I started when I did.

First pipes are a big deal. My first was a basket pipe but my first "real" pipe was a GBD pot a year later in 1971. Time surely flies whether you're having fun or not; but it's better when it's fun.

Congratulations..May you enjoy your pipes for many more years..My first pipe was a Savinelli Hercules.I later got rid of it because it was so heavy.
