Has anyone smoked or does anyone remember Bell's 3 Nuns? I believe it was English. It's no longer made. From all the reviews it was a 5 star tobacco. C&D has a blend called 3 Friars which is supposed to be a near copy. I smoked 2 bowls of 3 Friars today. Very, very good. I just don't have anything to compare it to.

    I've never seen it.

But, you know what they say:
"Sometimes you just can't get Nun."

Here's a copy/paste of an earlier comment of mine regarding 3 Nuns:

"Something I'm kicking my ass over today is a mistake I made when I first began RYO. There was a tin right next to the RYO tobaccos on the shelf at my B&M and it looked cool, so I bought it along with my other tobacco.

The tin was Bell's 3 Nuns. I knew nothing about this Vaper twist and was disappointed when I opened the tin to discover pipe tobacco. It's no longer imported to the U.S. and since I've been smoking a pipe, I've read many comments about how people miss it."

More like Dudley Dipshit, am I right?

    Oppie.

    Have you tried Frenchy' Sunzabitches?

Not 3 nuns but I love the stuff. Burley, Perique and some VA.

I won't see any communication directed to me here. I'm no longer active at this forum.

It is still available, but it's not the original (i.e. by Bell's). It's made by Imperial for the UK market, but it's ready rubbed in a pouch rather than roundels in the tin. There is a tinned version available on the continent, but I have no idea who produces it or if it resembles the original in anyway.

I tried the new UK version: 'orrible, poor quality shite. I've also tried a clone of the original sold by MacGahey in Exeter called 'Buckland Curlies' which is ok. It's got a strange aftertaste though...
