Very nice, but the shipping is a bit odd: US$12 Registered & Insured for US$40, or pay US$60 shippiing with US$600 insurance -- choose one or the other. Feast or famine.

I don't think you paid too much IMHO.
That shipping policy is strange though. I'd Email the seller and see if there's a sweet spot between $12 shipping with $40 insurance and his $60 shipping with $600 insurance -- such as $25 shipping and $80 insurance, for example.

It's not foolproof I got caught now and again. Just get to know your shoes and purses. Couch outlet is your best friend next to your tobacconist well atleast if your married.

She hangs those purses and stacks those shoes like trophies from a victory yet you'll look at them as get out of jail free cards. Mind you they cost more them most pipes you'd buy but that's the price of getting caught.

Haha rule number one don't underestimate your wife I walked in from work and she looks at me weird "you bought a pipe didnt you?" With a huge smile on her face. Oh man I love this women she knows me all to well. At least now I can smoke it in piece. Without trying to hide. Moral of the story lying gets you no where and just made me look dumb lol lesson learned. Lol

I had this saved to bid on but the shipping prices are what kept me away. I look forward to hearing how you had it shipped ($12 or $60) and how long it took to get to you. If your experience with this seller is a good one I will definitely not hesitate to buy in the future. This is a very nice looking pipe and I hope you enjoy it .

@Rothnh- i sent the seller a message still no response i think i can insure the package through PayPal? Don't they offer an insurance option?
@k9shag- thanks im probably gonna risk the 12$ since the seller isnt responding but either way im not doing the 60$ thats just ludicrous its obviously a seller trap there's no way that little pipe would cost 60$ to ship unless its next day. Still it just puts me over budget either way ill be at a loss.
When i bid on eBay i don't usually snipe because that is too dangerous for a guy like me i tend to always go overboard while sniping. What i usually do is bid the most I am willing to pay and if i get it i get it. Unless i truly must have it i rarely bid a second time. in this case i put 60$ and it was sitting at 59.99. i couldn't leave it like that i needed some sort of mystery to the finish so i put an odd bid of 86.00$ which most of the time works well because people tend to bid in increments of 5 i guess thats how the mind works.

You guys were all right these Caminetto's rarely go for less then 200$ Caminetto pipes especially the rusticated ones.

I dunno about PayPal insurance options as I never looked it up, sorry.
As for your pipe not having a cap or looking a bit different, I'm pretty sure yours is not the same model, but it is always possible your estate pipe's cap was removed.

Wow that story is strangely familiar. We may be married to the same woman. My wife puts up with my PAD because she knows my guilt translates into new clothes for her. In the end it all means that I don't turn down any overtime when it comes my way.

I got this in the mail today came quick I'm glad I risked the 12$ shipping option it looks way better than the pics and it wasn't even dirty when I cleaned it pretty much new. Ill post pics tomorrow.
