    Beautiful pipe. Great work.

Hey dragon, out of curiosity, what is the average longgevity of your pipes because they seem thicker and more sturdy than other cobs.

They are MM cob bowls, so they ar ethe best cob bowl you can get,
as for them lasting..I abused the "@&$(; out of one smoking it multiple
times a day everyday for over a year before it kicked, now I have others
that are still going up to two years almost...and others have had their cobs
as long as 10-15-20years, so it all depends on how you treat them, like
any pipe. Now the eggs, generals, pats have hard-wood plug bottoms
so they are stronger then ones without them

Hope this helps...now I'm off to do some prototype'in briar shanks (smooth and rusticated)
with cob bowls....when Cob meets Briar...a match made in heaven

I have a couple of cob pipes (and a custom Amber Swirl coming real soon) that I smoke daily. My favorite, a MM egg, that I have had for over two years that is going strong after being smoked daily, and usually more than once a day. Smoke them cool, use a wind cap if outside, and they should easily last years.

swirled stems are the orgasm of the stem world.
