I'm watching Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer right now and it's getting me into the spirit. I'll be selecting a couple tins from the cellar to send out soon.

I sent my package last week before Thanksgiving. Sorry for the delay in posting, I forgot that we are supposed to post when we ship and when we receive.

Oops! It seems I had a Friday delivery from Santa. To be opened on Xmas eve, but a bit of sleuthing is in order for now.

Mine went out today... Headed from Delaware to the great State of New York. In addition to the Tins/Plugs... I added a unique and suddenly unobtainable sample of something from The Danish Pipe Shop to the package for my giftee that I hope he enjoys. Given some of his obvious preferences, I think he will find it interesting... even though I sense he's not an Aro lover... he might find this cool.

    Also, I received mine!!!

I had a few packages arrive at once, so I hastily opened them all.

Had I been more careful and been in better lighting I would have figured out it was my Secret Santa gift. I would have been more patient.

In any case, I have to say, it made my day. My Secret Santa is awesome. I received one tobacco that I have been wanting to try for a long time - but never got around to trying. A big tin of the Solani: Silver Flake... and I received a very unique and hard to acquire tin of Sunset from HU Tobacco... this is also a tobacco that I haven't tried, though I have had it in my cart at HU... I have prominently displayed them next to a new pipe that I plan to break in on xmas eve...
So, every day, I will look at the tobacco and the pipe and build my anticipation. I'll post a pic closer to Xmas.

Thanks Secret Santa/ BB whomever you are - you are very thoughtful and your gift is amazing!

My package is off too! Isn't it funny how, no matter how tightly you wrap it, that Capt Black grape smell still seems to waft over everything?

At last my package is winging its way to my victim. I had hired a carrier possum but he was hit by a grain truck as he scampered out of my driveway. Luckily the pack of Captain Black Gooseberry and tin of Lamb Slices survived. I ended up using the services of a local turkey vulture but he said the flight distance required an inflight meal so I bungee corded the possum carcass to the package. Nothing should soak through the cardboard box I think. Merry Christmas.

Any Car Talk fans here? In the spirit of Click and Clack, I'd like to request that my Santa tape two tins to the back of a Pre-WWII Martin Herringbone D-28 guitar and send it my way.

Tonight, my Secret Santa’s elf’s left a box for me. In it, was a tin of Mac Baren HH Burley Flake and C&D Briar Fox. Thank you Santa! The Burley Flake is one of my favorites and I smoke it regularly. I’ve wanted to try Briar Fox for a while now, so this worked out very well for me !

    Hi all

My Secret Santa came down the chimney last night!

As you can see, he left me some Bengal Slices (always appreciated) and some SG Balkan Flake (which I have never tried before). The Balkan Flake will be popped on Christmas Day.

Santa also brought me a zippo pipe lighter - an extraordinarily generous gift which will be well used.

My very grateful thanks to Santa, and also to Dan for organising this.

Wife runs a dog training company and I had to play Santa the other night for "Photo with Santa Night". Think I ended up with 24 dogs on my lap. I made sure to get my briar in on every picture. People seemed to really get a kick out of the pipe, several mentioned it. It was not a good clencher and I was pretty sore after the 3 hour stint! Here is one of the more vicious dogs.

Looks like my box is coming today. I shall report back!

Since I have no will power to speak of I went ahead and opened my box.

My Secret Santa is not only generous but clever.. Individually wrapped (and numbered) tins. (Also a leather rest and a coozie!)

Above and beyond no doubt, but also gives me enough pause to slow it downs. Ill open #1
    Score..

Now I can comfortably wait AT LEAST another 24 hours before proceeding.

I opened mine yesterday and got my gift out in the post this morning. The post was closed this morning (R.I.P Bush Sr.) and I had to use the self service thingy. I hope I got it right?

I'm enjoying a bowl of Warhorse Ready Rubbed in a small Dunhill from the 20's while listening to The Complete Million Dollar Quartet. Thank you. The 5100 small bulk bag was a nice touch and appreciated. I've had Warhorse Bar, but never the ready rubbed. I think I like the ready rubbed more? It's the perfect Christmas blend.

I hope my Secret Santa likes my gift as much as I liked theirs. Even though, I put my name on it by accident. I'm an idiot. What can I say? Well... I can say that Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash make a hell of a jam session.

    Merry Christmas everybody!

Mother, I always sign my card. In my experience, it usually comes out in the office ones. I think the fun is sharing experiences with people you wouldn't normally get to interact with.

Thank you Secret Santa. I must have been very good, because I received aged Squadron Leader (a personal fave) and some Epikur, which appears to be similar to Full Virginia Plug. I'll smoke some of that on Christmas and Christmas Eve.

Well, my Santa was quite generous. It's gonna be hard for me to keep my grubby mitts off of this stash for 19 more days!

I got a bunch of stuff that I've never had before and I can't wait for Christmas to arrive.

I've never heard of the Savinelli 140th Anniversary blend before but it sounds awesome. The Germain's will be my first from that label. I've had FVF before but not in a tin and "never enough", right?

The pipe is a Dagner with a sweet carbon fiber accent. That may become my New Year's pipe...

    Thank you, Secret Santa!

That's quite a gift Jay! I thought there was a two tin limit! Now my secret Santa is going to think I'm cheap. Well, I am, but they don't need to know it!

Funny I was just looking at Linse lighters the other day. Its like a fancy BIC right?

My package was (finally) sent today. The short distance that it will travel should mean that delivery will occur in 2-3 days. Maybe I’m not as efficient as the rest, but getting preparations done18 days before the holiday is pretty much unheard of in my world.

I know what you mean Mike. I'm feeling kind of lame now.
