Now the waiting begins. It is supposed to take a few days to get to my fellow pipe smoker, but will more than likely spend a few weeks languishing in a Canada Post truck somewhere.

I have done my due diligence, AKA stalking, and have now picked the tobaccos I want to give. If nothing changes I be able to get this out early this year.

I was able to mail my gift off today. It cost a lot more to ship weight wise then I wanted to spend, but I did it.

Surprised me since I thought my mother-in-law had slimmed down recently.

Target acquired. Schedule dictates no shipment until at least next week, as I just don’t do Christmas before Thanksgiving. Bah! Besides, this stuff needs to get a little age on it first!!

My package arrived today!! My wife brought it to me and said Merry Christmas...I totally thought it was gonna be something else...ehem...but then I opened it and it was tobacco!! She asked if I was gonna open it and I told her we gotta wait! That creepy meme of woodsroads' was all I could think about when I saw what was in the box!!

Arrgh... You just triggered a flashback of my grandfather making all of us eat pickled herring on New Year's.

Thanks, Dan-ta Claus. Now I have to go to my safe place and drink 100 proof Czech plum brandy until I am sedated.

Pickled herring- with or without cream: A dream!

BTW, Dan, I've asked several times to see more of your helper- the hot one in the opening photo.. I don't want to have "cauche-mars" (reference: Orient Express) so no more monsters, huh?

So there's no misunderstanding, she's the one in the middle.

I'm not saying that you can order custom wrapping paper from a site like this, right here, and that if you happened to get Jay as a Secret Santa you could wrap your tins in that particular image, and then wrap the box in it, but, you know, you could.

Owwwww. I cannot unsee that image of the obese woman. Aaaaaahch! This is much better:

And, Dan, thanks very much for more images.... But there's another meaning of wanting to see more of that woman. But I'll leave all enough alone, and wish you all good night, and a pleasant tomorrow.
