1956 Unsmoked Dunhill 111, in box with all paperwork. This is a beauty. Got it for a steal. This will sit nicely in my stash next to my 1943.

That's exactly the only kind of Dunhill I would buy, but I'd put a 1/8" bend in the stem.

    Nice looking pipe for sure.

What's the backstory? How'd you find that little cutie of a pipe?

I actually picked this up in a trade from a friend, he wanted a pipe I owned and never smoked. I am just wondering what sort of value something like this has to a collector

I'm not a Dunhill collector, but that's a very nice piece. That appears to be the actual original box (as opposed to a random same-brand box added to an ebay auction) and it's a nice, iconic Dunhill billiard. What kind of pipe did you trade for it?

    TOTAL ENVY

my uncle smoked dunhills & gave me my first dunhill - all his dunhills were this classic look.
all the bowls were 5 or 6

he passed away years ago & i'll bet my aunt threw them all out.

i prize the smaller dunhill he gave me.

THAT IS A FIND - DONT SMOKE IT - CARE FOR IT WITH PRIDE -

Very nice find... I should be so lucky! I have never had a Dunhill, but from what I hear, they are a well built, nice smoking pipe. I hope it smokes as nice as it looks, congrats!

Incredible...a rare find. I wonder how many such unsmoked, aged Dunhills in original packaging still exist. Congrats.

Not something one is going to see very often. The blast looks great, and a lovely shape. As to value, unsmoked with the original box, sock, and papers, conservatively, as much as a new Dunhill...but more!

Here's my guess as to how much it's worth to a collector, or maybe better, 'market value'...
Unsmoked and with as much 'provenance' as possible, I'd say prices might start @ $1,000.00.
But, I know nothing other than what I've gleaned in the last 18 months of reading about pipes and tobacco online.

Spectacular. Congrats on a once in a lifetime pipe. If the rim was smooth it would be exactly the perfect pipe in my mind- excellent blast grain, slender stem, perfect size and weight, textbook shape.

Beautiful pipe, someone will get a hell of a priviledge to give this pipe its first bowlful!
