Thanx Phil,
Excellent renderings.
How about posting what blend you were smoking while working on a particular piece.
Funny that you mention what blend I was smoking while creating. Some of these images are quite old, but I can remember, of all things, exactly what tobaccos I was smoking during the photographing and the manipulating. Can't tell you what I had for breakfast yesterday but I can tell you what pipe and tobacco I smoked afterwards ha ha ha. I will do my best to remember, and from now on, document what tobaccos are involved with what pieces. I can tell you for starters that the last image and the next few to follow involved a very steady diet of great tobaccos. I visit these woods often and spent weeks photographing their beauty. In rotation for any given day in the woods was Marlin Flake, Dunhill Light Flake, Dunhill London Mixture, Penzance, Margate, SG Full Virginia Flake, Solani 633, McClellands Anniversary, and G.L. Pease Bohemian Scandal. I may have had a little G.L. Pease Aragorn still on the go as well now that I think about it. I used to take food, water, plenty of pipes and tobacco, my dog and a tent. Sometimes I'd spend the day some times I'd spend the weekend. Anyways...enough about what, when, where, how...on with the show this is it:

@pstlpkr: I started smoking W.O. Larsen Signature Vintage Mixture in a Stanwell bulldog as soon as I finished photographing and began the editing process. I am now on a triumphant 2nd bowl in a Peterson Irish Made Army 102.

Wow...I now realize I have the artistic capabilities of a retarded mosquito. :worship:...awesome stuff Phil.

Each piece is fascinating.

That's cool Phil,
The pictures are great!
Wanted to ask you how the appendage is doing?
The appendage is doing quite well. Strength and mobility are back to around 90%. The nerve damage is healing slowly as is expected. The numbness covers a much smaller area than it did, and the over all level of numbness is going down. All things considered, I came out of this pretty damn well.
Glad everyone enjoys the art work. First time I really sat down and did some shooting since the hand went wonky. I'm back in action and that one photo session has me excited and eager to shoot again. More to come soon. the art show is back on.
Cheers.

Hot damn... Gotta bookmark this thread or something lol. When I move into a more perm living situation I'm going to want a couple of these in print to hang up... Freaking gorgeous. Will be in touch my friend.
Very nice Phil, I think you are improving.
Just let me know what you want when you want it Spartan.
Thanks for the compliment Lawrence.
These original smoke photos have gotten a lot of mileage, but I found yet a couple more that I haven't yet posted. You can actually see something that looks like objectively agreed upon real life subject matter in one of them for a change ha ha ha.

This being the original that started it all. I think this is an iPhone shot.
Love the work ohin3.
It's friggin' cold out today in Nova Scotia, but when a quick photo shoot on the harbour yields the raw materials for this kind of creativity it is totally worth freezing your stones off. This is actually a shot aboard an old wrecked fishing boat, half of which is grown over with the earth of the shore itself so that it is sort of part of the shore. I gave my cat Esther a burial at sea from this boat. This is a bit of a tribute to her I suppose.

Great work ohin3. Some of your work looks like it would fit in perfectly as album artwork for Tool.
+1 Jameral lol
I plan to grab a couple prints from Ohin whenever the future is a little more stable for me.
They are totally awesome.

That so reminds me of Alien for some reason. Very cool bro.
Do you mind if I use one of your pics as my wall paper on my phone?
As I said previously in this thread:
I don't mind you using the images for a screen saver. I just don't want to see them turn up on someones website. I sell these to web designers, game designers, promoters, packagers and marketers of all sort.
And:
All images are original, copywritten and owned by pEEjAYeM prOdUckshEns Ltd. Enjoy this first image and all to follow.
Just spread the word about the artist and let anyone interested know how to find me.
Glad you dig the images.
Cheers.

Wild stuff man, really enjoyed viewing.
Glad you dig it man. I have been extra frustrated lately with way too much on the go business and home renovations wise and that always means a spike in creativity for me. My best art be it drawing, painting, sculpting, writing music or manipulating photos and digital art comes from strife. So there will be a steady influx of posts in this thread for a bit. And the summer is coming which always leads to more shooting so I suspect this thread will be growing quite a bit in the next few months. Show your friends, tell them who I am and let them know that prints are available and that my creative services are available for anything that requires artwork.
Cheers.

These are pretty cool. Love the symmetry!
organizing some photos and what not and came across a few that deserve mentioning. This one was a logo I did for myself. It began as a pencil drawing of my initials pjm.
