Two recent acquisitions showing my favorite (Danish) shape, the egg with canted bowl. I don't know why I can't get enough of this shape, though others must feel the same because I am generally outbid. I only smoke these out of the wind because there's no margin of error for the flame and I want to keep the slender rims looking fine. There's a whole world of Stanwells and Pipe Dan-eras out there for me to dream about.

Genod makes a pleasing bent slightly canted egg, a very compact pipe with an unexpectedly ample bowl. It's my only egg shape pipe, but it really illustrates the pleasures of the shape.
