Just the good Baron and I
I will assume we're both drunk but we all know where assumptions lead.....
I should really go to bed.
Hah ! 4 seconds too slow !
Story of my life.
I'm heading that way, after this last drink.
I knew it
Same here.
Matchstickman is here now. Maybe the West Coast shift is gonna drop in soon! They better bring coffee. We're gonna need it.
I'll bring the Jameson .......

I got a big ass batch of some cold brewed coffee working in a pitcher at the moment, but it appears Im a little late to the party. I was doing some work for the blog that I write for and just logged on to check messages. Had a bowl full of C&D Mountain Camp just a few minutes ago. I really need to get more active in the After Midnight scene.

I got my mug of coffee and my energy drinks!!! I'm a little tired tonight, might have to nap for a few...
12:02 here in California
Chillen with CRK69, Checotah, Skysail, Matchstickman, Ovidmuse, and Philobeddoe
Chill-in is right, finally cooling off here. Actually feels like fall a little!
Its colder than a well-diggers ass here in Illinois. We're down to 35 right now. As such, it was Latakia time tonight. Just got done smoking my first bowl of Dunhill Nightcap. Great tasting stuff, but everybody always touted it as being a really nicotine heavy blend, but I didn't get as big a nic hit from it as I would like. Still great though. Time to work on my novel some more and answer a few emails.
Novelist, have you tried Old Dublin yet? It's one of my cold weather favorites, along with GL Pease Cumberland though that's a VaPer.
02:16 here, and it's me, crk69, matchstickman, tjameson, lonestar, and ovidsmuse.
About a week ago, baronsamedi posted a GWAR video. I thought you'd get a kick out this one:
GWAR covering "Wayward Son" by Kansas
Novelist, have you tried Old Dublin yet?
Old Dublin is one of many blends on my 7 mile long TAD list that I have been wanting to try. With any luck I can get my hands on some before too long.
Awesome cover by GWAR, looks like their tour will be in Texas for three dates this month.. Thanks for sharing cgrd..

It is about that time. I am, I admit a very moody person. Sometimes it is like night and day. Some of you may see that in my posts. I get terribly worse on the inside when there is less daylight in the day. When the sun goes down I feel very trapped in my hotel room at times. I mean no harm but sometimes I know I come off as real a douche.
I won't go into details of the mood disorders and issues that I have, but please, especially Baron, know that I mean no offense in any way. I will attempt to be more on the bright side of Chris side instead of a Mr. Hyde Penzance regardless of what I am smoking. I didn't wanna post in a new threat so I thought best to place it here. I knew this club would get it.
Normal me:

Mr. Hyde Penzance:

I really don't wanna be this way, but I know somehow, that something isn't quite right in my head and it gets terribly worse this time of year.
Well if you tried to insult me I missed it so lots of luck with that.
We all have our demons to slay. I'm lucky to even be here. Almost didn't make it out of 2011 alive and now I've made it almost through 2012! Glad I stuck around.
Something Mr. Jones needs to consider:

Should I have rum or ice cream? Mmmmm YES!
Thanks Baron. Somehow in my crazy mixed up brain I thought we were clashing for some time. No, I didn't try to insult you or anyone on the forum, sometimes on the downside of a mood swing, I felt that I had.
I would vote for Ice cream topped with caramel.
How about some Rum Raisin! Best of both worlds.
Curiouser...is that even a word?
Maybe to a Zombie!

Baron, you left me out LOL.
Baron I"m smokeing the P-Lip Pete I just retorted , smokeing some of that Veer stuff Chris sent me, Homburger Veermaster damn good stuff, like the P-Lip. The old cajun
You must have been floating.
I need to try that. It will be hard not to call it Hamburger Beermaster.
It's definitely quality tobacco and I love virginias, but I wasn't impressed with my recent tin of Hamborger Veermaster. Maybe I was expecting too much by recalling what I remembered of it from back when. The other tin went in the cellar.
I was playing Saints Row 3 ,just runnin over stuff . Low class entertainment but I like it .
I'm watching reruns of A Haunting.

Unfortunately way back when I wasn't smoking quality pipe tobacco. I always hear of great stuff that no longer exists and if frustrates the hell out of me. I can only start to cellar from where I am in my smoking career now. I just picked the pipe back up in June.
I had cookies and cream ice cream with caramel, Orange Crush syrup, whipped cream and cherries.
Damn 800 cals and counting , I did score some orange sherbert today though .

Wow, that sounds delicious!

I dunno. I've been smoking a pipe (with some breaks in between) for a long time and it's been my experience that if a blend isn't really very good fresh, it will never be a transcendental experience later -- even if it is a virginia blend and as such it's supposed to age wonderfully.
The recent HV I smoked was fine. I think it's just me thinking it would be more than I got out of it.
One of my favorite ways to eat ice cream. The Orange Crush syrup is the bomb, but they make an A&W Root beer flavor, too.
I have yet to try the Orange Crush syrup. I love some diet Stewart's Rootbeer, and diet Orange Creme soda though!
Hadley Castille the old fiddler in the pimp hat , his great grandfather did business with my great grandfather, my great grandfather was a top breeder of mules, sold his great grandfather a mule, in those days almost all Cajuns played some kind of instrement, but you didn"t make your living doing that, if you did the old Cajuns looked down on you, a professional musican was trash, they figured playing in bars was not a good thing, they all played but in their homes , moved the furniture out of the living room, played and danced , had a room with mattresses for the small children and babies, they told the children. Fey Do Do, go to sleep and now that word is used for a Cajun shindig. The old cajun
Midnight....Brigham's english blend in PM2012

Smoking Dunhill NightCap and reading tobacco reviews on Dunhill stuff I can't get in North America. Last time I was in the UK, I was on a pipe smoking hiatus so didn't stop at any of the tobacco "shrines". Next time, it will be a toss up where I start first, Peterson's or Dunhill's.

Heyo!
It's 3:20am Eastern... I am still lurking these here forums!
Been too busy with sick people to visit lately
1:22am Eastern! Just finished my first bowl in a few days. I have to say that Ashton's Winding Road left me disappointed. I wish I didn't buy this tin... and over here where I am it cost me over 40 bucks Canadian! It was 39 and tax. I am disappointed and my wallet feels hurt! Oh well, back to watching Sherlock.
Smoking a mix of 1-Q and MV-1000. Right tasty!

1:18am eastern. Studying for my "Philosophy of Minds and Machines" course midterm. I am about to go out of my mind!
Off to bed. Have a great night all!
Take care bro. I'll be up for a while yet. Going to start taking antibiotics tomorrow - Having a tooth pulled next week. No good. So that means no drinking for me for 7 days.
You bet your ass I'm making tonight count !
Giving Ashton's Winding Road another chance but this time I mixed it with a bit of Latitude and Cape Hatteras 2 of my local shows house blends. This time around it's pretty nice. Separated I wasn't too keen on any of the 3, but together It seems a bit more pleasant. All the while reading about the mind and the philosophical concepts surrounding it...
Any notes on meditation vinvin?
Just after midnight in Alberta, Canada and here are the people in "The After Midnight Club" this morning.

@kelp yups! Descartes meditations lol... Right now i am reading about whether or not pain is a brain state and whatnot. It certainly is painful cramming all this into my brain!
Just me and the dogs, who are sharing my bowl of stew.
@vinvin Very interesting stuff!! Just electrical impulses
Are you taking a class?
@kelp yeah its my final year at university (hopefully) and the midterm is in oh, around 9.5 hours. Currently I'm reading about why pain states are brain states but they are also more than that... It's giving me a headache that's for sure! It is a wonderful course though, i just shouldn't have procrastinated and studied last minute. At least i can smoke a bowl while studying haha!
