Asking Sablebrush/ Jesse about Barlings as I didn't have one. Lo and Behold in today's mail

A big pot, Special Barling much too sophiscated for me, but I"l try and do it justice. Watching PMon bump around as a cone head, smoking McBarrens Latika Flake, damn good smoke. Thank You Jesse, true gentleman and good man. :worship:

Wow, with a bowl that wide you can draw the flavor out of a blend with 40 different tobaccos in it.

Nice Ye Olde Barling's Pot, maybe not the "sexiest" shape, but the Barling's pot shaped pipes I have smoke really, really well!

Hi Bradley,
Thank you! That pipe looks happy in its new home and the picture that you sent me of you puffing on it is one of pure contentment. You have been a source of inspiration to me and I'm happy that you like the pipe.
It may not be the sexiest shape out there by a mile, but make no mistake, it's a world class smoke. Anything that you put in a Barling pot will sing. It's the largest size bowl that they made, nearly 2" across with about 1 1/4" wide chamber. Also, it's graded a "Special", which means that the briar was deemed to be of superior quality, even by Barling standards.
I hope that you will enjoy it for many years to come.
