I got these two tampers from Mr. James on briarbid . If you don't have one , you should ! Lol . He even sent some C&D epiphany free ! The pictures don't do them justice . Works of art ! Now on to restoring these 2 old medicos and Falcons .

Mr. James bailed my fat out of the fire by repairing a favorite Grabow and I am the president of his fan club. Not only is he a true craftsman but he's a wonderful gentleman as well.

Yes they are nice captain @ Fnord , I spoke to him a few times and he truly is a great craftsman and gentleman .

Nice! I have been trying to replace my Chinese-made pipe nail and I just have not found a tamper I like better yet.

I just bought one from him too, Cajun made up my mind. I got the antler/shark shaped one. He is a gentleman.

Cajun, beautiful, love the spoon.

E. James is a class act with excellent craftsmanship. I have several tampers he has made and a pipe stand that I will treasure forever. The kids are already putting dibs on the stand after I'm gone.

I don't make conventional pipe stands or racks. Mine are usually quite rustic and made for one pipe.
