I've been hunting for Penzance for a good few months. Everytime I find it, it's out of stock. Local B&M and 4noggins said they have no idea when they will get any.

I am about to go have a bowl of it for the first time now. I was wondering for those that have seen it before if their flakes looked like these:

I wonder if it is just the coloring or what, but I have never seen flakes that look like they have mold on them. I don't think it is mold, but it definitely looks like it. So do these look like what you have seen before?

I am willing to take 4 or 5 flakes and send them to some people that want to try it. I would just be wanting postage covered. I reckon I could put them in a small ziplock and then in an envelope and mail them like a heavy letter. If someone wants some, email me at jankomatic ATTTTTTTT gmail.com . It's not mold, it's "bloom" or "plume"... Basically it is just sugar crystals from the tobacco. If it smells awful (and I mean rancid) then it will be mold.

Tobacco mold is green and plume is white. Plume, in my opinion, is good as it means the tobacco has begun aging.

I think you should carefully reseal the bag and mail it to me for further inspection and testing. I will provide a report in about 14 days as to whether or not the product was tainted. ::

I got one of those bags of Penzance from Cup O' Joes as well. I haven't noticed anything funky about mine at all, other than I've only had one bowl of it, lol.
Cup O' Joes is awesome. Mine took a little longer for some reason. I think part of it was because of paypal being a turd.

Never saw the thread pop back up again. I really like Penzance, I am smoking it with my morning coffee on most days now.
On a side note, I have sent 6 packages of samples(hope they get 3 or 4 bowls out of what I sent) out to people so I am all out to share at the moment.
