It would seem that you were happy to pay what he was asking, so it seems to me that his prices were right on or even too low. If Pipestud is getting $125.00 per bag, why should the B&M let that cash go out the door. A commodity costs exactly what the market will bear.
They're not dealing with your income, time and locality balance. I can probably get Penzance cheaply on the moon, but that's pretty much irrelevant to all of us
