Just received my order from Park Lane:

    8oz Trout Brook
    2oz Old Church
    2oz salmon River

If you like 1Q, you really should give Trout Brook a try.

I had to go to the doctor yesterday, so I took off around 3:15. Thing is, it takes 15 minutes to get to the doctor, and it was a five o'clock. So I stopped by Pipes and Pleasures, and planned to just have a cigar. Looking around, I noticed that had Samuel Gawith blends in.

I grabbed the last tin of Grousemoor and a tin of Commonwealth.

Now, I've noticed a tendency for this forum to get rather silly.

mrtman: I've only tried the Peterson Luxury Blend, but it was a really good aro... I've also had the McClelland Premium: Tastemaster which was excellent and a real crowd pleaser.

atwageman: I'm coming to your house to smoke that Somerled. I only smoked a sample from the box pass, but damn, it was great!

I finally pulled the trigger and ordered from pipesandcigars.com:

Peter Stokkebye Bulk Black Currant Cavendish
    GL Pease Key Largo
    McClelland Christmas Cheer 2011

We'll see whether or not the package makes it to Canada.

Just got these in on Friday from 4noggins.com:

    2 oz Three Blind Moose

50G tin Gawith Hoggarth Top Black Cherry

50g tin Gawith Hoggarth Rum Flake.

I've been wanting to try some G&H blends for a while to see if there is much difference from Sam Gawith blends I have tried.

I wasn't planning on buying any tobacco related stuff this month, but made the mistake of wondering around the SP website yesterday. The Dan tobacco is ridiculously discounted. I bought 3 pounds of Bill Bailey's Balken Blend. 29.90 a pound? That's late 90's prices!

Here's our last purchase that came last week. I've been working a lot this past week and haven't wanted to get online much this week.

Shoot, no one has been keeping this updated. Well, here's the order I just made from 4noggins, with comments:

    Blends I haven't tried before:

    Granger, 2 Oz
    Walnut, 2 oz
Sail Green, 50 g I smoked a lot of the Yellow, Back in the Day, and some of the Ivory, but never the green or Red
    McClelland Blue Mountain, 50 gram

    For the cellar:
Hartwell Signature, 50 g This is a lovely tangy red Va Flake. 5 years in the cellar makes it mellower, although it is great fresh, too

    Old Faves:
    Peterson Old Dublin, 50 g, 3 tins: My go-to all-day latakia blend
SG Balkan Flake, 50 g: One of the few SG blends easily available, these days. I smoke a couple of tins a year.
Hermit Tobacco Ten Russians, 2 oz: A latakia "bomb"
Ashton Artisan, 50g: Lots of Syrian latakia, with a touch of perique. I love Syrian latakia in the morning

And a MM Country Gentleman,'cause I need another cob.

Thought in the early morning, solace in time of woes,
Peace in the hush of the twilight, balm ere my eyelids close

Yeah, I've been neglecting this thread as well. Week before last I bought 2 oz. blending latakia (unsure of the manufacturer) and 3 oz of Dunhill's Nightcap at my local B&M. About a month ago I got 1 oz of their in-store, hand-blended aromatic called "Ultimate Blend". Not bad. Similar to 1-Q, but a little fuller mouth feel. I also got 2 oz. of their "Scottish Blend" which is a nice Americanized-English/Latakia blend.

I also got some stuff last week for my Secret Santa, but I ain't tell what!

    From Pipes & Cigars:

2 x 50g McClelland Virginia #22 (one for now, one for the cellar)
2 x 50g McClelland Virginia #24 (one for now, one for the cellar)
    1 x 50g H&H Marquee Black House
4 oz Altadis bulk Burma Road

    1 MM Diplomat, straight

The McClellands are part of my search for something to fit in the Best Brown niche. I am anxious to compare Black House to Blue Mountain. And Burma Road - a crossover medium English - is a nice morning smoke. I'll rotate that with MacBaren's HH Vintage Syrian, and a blend called After Hours from my local B&M.

    6oz of 1Q
    tin of macberen vanilla cream

was wondering who had the blend that is put together at the end of the day and is different every time?

If you can't pack it, light it, and smoke it then why do it. It's a dieing art that must be rekindled in all of us as fortold by our forefathers.

8 oz. bag of Penzance today

Nice, I love Penzance. When I get my next paycheck I,m gonna get some baccy. Not sure what I want yet though. I'm thinking something from Altadis. Maybe a crossover blend?

As long as I got a pipe full of baccy and a nose full of snuff, I'm a happy camper

My latest buy was an 8 ounce bag of Penzance, a couple of ounces of Hobbits Weed by Tweaksburry, Rose of Latakia and Christmas Cheer by McClelland. Not a fan of the Christmas cheer, but the rest is awesome.
