fishbanjo, your pipes are exquisite, works of art to behold. Don't turn us against our own really great

pipes that don't quite reach into this stratospheric category. This is a great photo too. If you aren't in

pipe sales, you need to be. I often find bamboo shanks a little patchy looking, but this one is carried

off masterfully, with the flow of textures really doing a kind of visual concert, from the rusticated bowl,

to the bamboo, to that slender stem, all using the prince shape to draw it all together in a fluid way.

This really is where pipes go beyond craftsmanship into the realm of art.

mso489, furthest thing from my mind sir, I smoke corn cobs by the 1/2 dozen as well, I love good pipes, great pipes, unique pipes and very rare pipes but they all share one very important criteria, they must perform the job they were meant to exquisitely. Regards..........
