While restocking the jars in the shop today, I stumbled on a 5lb bag of "CTC". Anyone familiar with this blend? I tried Google and Pipe Tobacco Reviews. Very little out there except on one site but they don't give much detail.

The bag is unopened and a few years old..still moist.

My experience with Sutliff has been good. Five pounds is a lot of one blend, from my perspective, but you should sure give it a try. If it's Chocolate Truffle Cavendish, that should show up in the first few puffs. If it is a non-flavored blend, it could be good for mixing with many other blends or single leaf blending tobaccos. Tell us how it goes. Even if it's aro, it might mix well with others. If you are a moderate smoker, that could last a long, long time.
