This neat old boy came in today and I'm highly impressed, it's got an excellent blast, excellent shaping, and a truly excellent stem,
--- it has exceeded my expectations!
It's a rather odd pipe.
The entire shank is blasted,
I can't recall seeing a blast like this with the underside blasted too...
One one side it's stamped 59,
indicating it's probably a factory made pipe?
If it is, it came from a very good factory!
...and on the other side is one of the strangest stamps I've ever seen, I can't really make heads or tails of it and I'm quite bewildered,
-- I figured other eyes may be able to decipher this odd marking?
Any help or hints would be most appreciated!
I've never seen the stampings pressed directly into the blast before like on this pipe either?
Definitely an oddball!
I couldn't pass it up,
got a pretty good deal for such a nice pipe!
