Found this pipe today at an antique store. It's a Sterncrest Fire Thorn with sterling silver collar. I found some info on Sterncrest pipes but can't find anything on the Fire Thorn. Any help would be appreciated.

Nice score. Information on L&H Stern is rather limited to begin with, let alone any specific lines from the brand. Fire Thorn's are all rusticated from what I've seen. Sterncrest's are all silver or gold banded push stems.
Your pipe was made in Brooklyn NY before 1960.

I have a decent collection of copied Sterncrest 1940s ads. None show the Fire Thorn. But that is by no means conclusive. That style of pipe became popular in the 40s. My guess based on what I've seen of pipes like that is it's a 40s-50s product. The band and stem is consistent with the ads I mentioned.
