It's on one of the first briars I ever bought. One of the cheaper ones you find on Amazon, back when I first got into pipes. It's been a good little road pipe but the stem has a crack running almost all the way around it. Is there a way to fix this or should I just move on?
From what I can tell the company doesn't make replacement stems. I first thought of wrapping the crack up with some strong tape but then I didn't know if that would mess it up worse or what. The briar bowl and everything is fine and it's a good smoker. Especially considering the abuse it took as I was learning those first few months.
