I'm looking at several beautiful versions of this, my favorite pipe shape, on a European website. Anyone know why none of the American on-line retailers seem to offer these pipes? Closest one can find is a Featherweight 242, with limited options.

That's a nice looking pipe, Roth. I've been looking at several, including one called "Day & Night".
I have been obsessed with this shape for quite some time. Not sure why....
Love the hand and mouth feel, the balance, and the performance of the bowl shape.
Obsessed.

Bump for my beloved No. 11
Can anyone point me in the right direction? There are an amazing variety of these old pipes in out there, but I'm not seeing them in the line-ups of the usual estate vendors.
I've even been looking at a few Savinelli "bent pots" that are similar - beautiful, in fact - but just not the same....

Damn!

That's a great price!
I've ordered twice from Skjold Burne and had no problems whatsoever, great service, great prices and hard-to-find Stanwells --- I was at the height of my "Danish mania" and even ordered some "toogtyveelleve"...

The naval series was expensive when it first came out:

...and those are older, so it's a Made in Denmark pipe.
Here's an erotic video to entice you!

The 11 shape is one of the most popular Stanwells of all time, they've made a lot of them, but most, if not all, are 9mm as Roth said. The 242 is a smaller version and nonfilter, but you can find it in a few different finishes if you look and if you're willing to buy from Europe.
The shape has a huge following in Germany, if you want an estate, you'll find one on the German eBay with ease.
...there's piles of 'em out there!

You can even still find a Flame Grain 11 if you look hard enough...

Have you seen bentmike's meerschaum 11?

Well, I've found a few lurking here and there. And of course picked up that commander! But I'm still on the lookout for more of my favorite shape. Please let me know if you come across any. These rarely if ever show up as estate pipes with the American dealers.
