From SPC
The Hans Christian Andersen "II" shape, a very attractive bent Dublin, is roughly modeled on the classic Stanwell bent Dublin shape, the "140", designed for Stanwell by Jess Chonowitsch. The lithe lines as the bowl gradually merges into the curving shank are unmistakably Chonowitsch designed. As is the case with all HCA series pipes, it comes with both a regular length stem and a churchwarden length stem.

I do agree.....what SP is talking about the HCA2 and showing the HCA3.I do agree.....what SP is talking about the HCA2 and showing the HCA3.
The HCA3 is more like a bent billiard.

Sixten Ivarsson and Jess Chonowitsch have designed some of their shapes.
As have others. And who chose, hired, and paid these gents to do their designs? Stanwell. So when you go to the Stanwell site and look at what shapes they call the lines of pipes that they make, exactly ZERO of the HCA pipes are designated as calabash shapes. ZERO. When SPC takes over Stanwell they can call any shape anything they want to call it. Right now they're just a sales counter.

I noticed most are only designated by number and not shape. Come to think of it, most companies I've viewed don't specifically name their shapes and are only listed as numbers on a chart.
