I'm a technology kind of guy, love all the newest gadgets and the promises of future tech. Got me thinking that pipes are still VERY traditional in their shapes and coloring. I still enjoy the shapes, but wonder if there's anyone out there trying variations in color scheme.
Like I'd love to have something like a straight bulldog with a diamond stem/shank, in ebony black and Tron neon blue highlight lines.

Oh God it reminds me of a pinata in that it looks like it and I have the urge to hit it with a stick.

I bet it sold quickly though. Interesting how he gets the colours to separate like that.

Roth is right,

best to commission one, your design sounds like a good idea to me and I'm sure someone would love to make it for you.
If you just want a blue pipe off the shelf, there's quite a few to choose from, surprisingly...
...mostly euro stuff & most 9mm though,

I think I have seen some Paronelli that had some neon color schemes. Colorific line. Some of the "the pipe" line or venturi lines of "plastic" pipes from the 60's and 70s are neon colors.

...sorry man!
The one frustrating thing about pipesmoking is how sometimes things are very difficult to get or find, like out of production pipes or scarce tobacco...
Have ye hope though, maybe you'll find it somewhere!
Or like Roth said,

go ahead and commission something similar from an artisan maker...
...you could get one from Wayne Teipen, like the Chacom or similar, or like this, a design he's already made, just request for the tube to be anodized blue...

...maybe seek out Nate King?

A project like you got in mind would be right up his alley!

For some reason, my pipe smoking experience is supposed (by me) to be rustic and traditional. Most

of my pipes, even a green stain one, fulfill that concept. But I don't see any reason why anyone else

needs to feel that way. In fact, if I were under 35, to separate myself from the pipe smoking seniors,

I think I might gravitate toward wild and various colors. As a guy over a certain age, I might feel

exhibitionistic smoking such a pipe in a social or public situation, but if I were certifiably young,

it might be a hoot.

I was looking at a Chacom Diablo and thought a black bowl with brightly colored stem would look incredibly sweet! Cherry red, lime green, taxi yellow from ideas.
