4Noggins - Lord Methley's
Tin Note: Its a Blazing summer day your walking in the park and at the corner of your eye you spot a Snow Cone Stand. Close to your face your about to take a taste and poof that amazing cherry smell hits your nose and almost pains your sweet tooth. That's what I smell from this sweet tobacco. 4 out of 4
Initial Light: As soon as the flame touch the ribbon it burst out into a flavor making machine spewing out cherry and vanilla in the form of smoke. i had no trouble getting this pipe lit, evenly to boot. 4 out of 4
Mid-Smoke: The smoke is still going strong and flavor is a constant pleasure goes in smooth and comes out like you are blowing out cotton candy. The pipe isn't the least bit hot and i have experienced zero bite from this blend. However i did receive a little bit of gurgle which if it wasn't for the Volk pipe i would have suspected it to be worse but this dissipated quickly. 3 out of 4
Bottom of the Bowl: Flavor was starting to mix with an ashy like taste and the bowl was getting really hot so i dumped the burnt tobacco out and let the pipe rest for two minutes. Upon continuing i noticed the pipe to my surprise was still lit! wonderful. 3 out of 4
Room Note: No one around but my furry pal Roscoe so i figured what the hell and i asked him. I think he wagged his tail 4 times and tried to eat my pipe so i give it a 4 out of 4
Dottle: Nice Ashy finish again i suspect due to the pipe i was using it has a chamber that catches the moister and a stem that does not touch the inside walls preventing goop from entering.
Smoking Duration: A very pleasant 30min it was a windy day and i believe mother nature helped in smoking my pipe a bit.
Overall: Its a bit bias in the fact that i have always loved this blend it was my first real tobacco and will always have a place in my briar heart. a big shout out to Rich for making such a pleasant aromatic. it adds up for me as a whopping 18 out of 20
Thank you for reading, I do recommend this blend to anyone who enjoys aromatics its always readily available at 4noggins and i always have some in my cellar.
