Whether its one of the originals by Peterson of any other maker, lets see you system pipe. Please show the well design. These pics are hard to take. Sometimes a flashlight shinning into the well can help. The strangest Ive seen so far is one my SWISS. It has what appears to be a brass tube with a slot that allows the moisture to be collected into it. This tube is aprox 1/8 diameter and is about 3/4" deep. The stem tip looks on the exterior like a P-Lip but the hole comes out straight and not towards the roof of the mouth. This one also has a "EP in a triangle" on the band that Ive seen on Mastercraft pipes.
I have a fondness for the system pipe. Ive got Yello Bole Chesterfield, a couple WDC System pipes, and a small Peterson.
