Thank you. They smoke great, especially cherry blends. Just mind how hot you smoke, I blew out a Ropp deluxe while I was still learning. With a bic lighter at that, I have since 'discovered' matches.
I'm tempted to buy a full length hard wood pipe. I gave away my little one, cause it seemed like a toy. How's the stems on the MM hardwood pipes?
Same as the stems on the cobs, acrylic, so I imagine those forever stems should fit it if you want to customize.
I have several cherrywood Ropp pipes and most are typical of the shape and style. However I have one that is a real whopper...it stands 20cm (8 inches) tall and sports a cavernous bowl!
I've never smoked it myself but when I got it as an estate It was clearly well smoked by someone. Second picture has a typical Lovat pipe alongside the Ropp for size comparison. It is simply stamped Ropp Deluxe with a letter 'T' in a circle underneath. Most certainly not a clenching pipe :

Working on bashing in mine now.
That was supposed to say breaking in, but in my world, it's kind of the same thing, so I'll leave it.

The pipe is how it came. I honestly have no idea what the shank is made of. Lol I think it's the way the camera flashed that made it look like that.
