Dear brothers
My friend just gave me 2 Savinelli punto oro with code 6005 and 6013. But I had a search on google, there is no result about 2 code 6005 and 6013. So can you tell me are they real? I see carved words "SAVINELLI punto oro" on the base and 6013 on the right side. But the other one (code 6005) I just see only logo and "6005" on the right side and that is all, nor carved words "SAVINELLI" or "punto oro". Thank you very much for your information.

I had a four-digit Punto Oro for a while. They are legitimate. I believe it just means it is an older pipe. Surely someone here can confirm that!

Photos would help!
Once your photos are on a photo hosting site (such as Imgur.com; Photobucket; Postimage; Dropbox, etc.), or on virtually any site, select the full image, then Control-click (Mac) or Right-click (Windows) on the image itself, then choose copy image location. Now paste that URL (the full web address, which should end in .jpg) into the IMG box in the reply window of the thread you're posting to.

It was a very nice sandblasted Canadian. 8004 I believe. It was an excellent pipe in my opinion.

Savinelli opted for 3 digits shape code in the 1970's.

@dmcmtk: I took a check at your link. So 6013 -> 613 and 6005 -> 605? but i cannot find where the "605" is. Nothing on the bottom of 6005 but the logo Savi and code "6005". Ive never seen this case in any Savi pipes so far.

Here is a 4 digit Unsmoked Punto Oro I found yesterday. When I seen it I had to buy it. It is a Corallo 1004. Came with the box, sock and paperwork. Was too cool to pass up. 4 digit numbered pipes are older pipes I think that are pre 1970's.
It had a stinger which pulled out easily.
