Nice bit of rustication in that, go ahead and buy it, you know you want it!
I have a "Champagne" 611KS that really likes to burn Squadron Leader!

Slightly smaller chamber, hair shorter overall than the EX.

Thick walls, hell for stout and the bend allows for a comfortable clench.

The chamber on the Sav is 0.24ci larger than the Radice.

Chamber wall thickness is accordingly thinner on the Sav by 0.05".

The bend is more pronounced on the Sav, so even though it weighs 0.3oz more it would still seem to be better configured for clenching. As an old fart with dentures I gotta consider this.

The bowl rim is smooth on the Sav and that is really what swings ME over.
Can't speak to engineering, never had a Radice.
Aw hell, buy em' both (-;

The Savinelli is a factory-made pipe, the Radice is made by hand. The Radice's briar, fit, finish, engineering, and curing will all be a cut (or two) above the Savinelli. I have nothing against Savinelli; they're great pipes. But something that's mass-produced in a factory can't compete with something that's made by hand (regardless of what it is). They're just two different animals.
Also if you have a preference, the Savinelli has a vulcanite stem, the Radice has a lucite stem.

A few fellows in the club swear by Radice, particularly the hawkbills. I've only ever heard great things about the engineering / smokability.
