Keep my eye on Capri...(SP 50% sale)
but gold one is little more expensive than ebony..

is there any difference between Ebony vs Golden except color? :)

I can't say for sure, but I suspect that because the ebony finish is darker, it has more potential to hide potential flaws in the briar.

eirik', none of my Savs has ever sprung a fill, so if you like the ebony, I think it would remain a good looking pipe. Since there's not much price difference, it's probably wise to choose the one that appeals to you most. Appetizing is what you want. I have some unfinished Savs where the fills show (but not many and not large, I will say). The pipes smoke well and as they become darker with smoking, they look better and better.

@mso489
I already bought Ebony!

As you say, I think there is no difference, in technical aspect. So I just chose cheaper one.

(Actuallly, This is my first rusticated pipe. also first black pipe)
Thank you for advice :)

@Cosmic
Yeah. I think so!

Worth it to experience rustic pipe.

I hope it serve me by cool, dry smoking.
Thanks for answer. :)
