San Antonio Pipers

Any smokers on here in the San Antonio area? Are there any good pipe shops around? Also are there any places that serve good micro brews in the city? I'm at Ft. Sam Houston and will be able to go off base here in a week or 2 on the weekends and am looking for something to do.

I live in Arkansas, but my oldest daughter lives in San Antonio. There is a large two story mall down at the board walk that has a pipe/tobacco store. Can't remember the name of it but they had a nice selection of tobacco's and a walk-in cigar humidor.

Steve Leaders who is now retired used to run a shop in San Antonio called "Aromas". He also used to put out a monthly mailer with photos and descriptions of estate pipes for sale years ago. I'm not sure if he turned the shop over to anyone and if it is still there. Steve does still attend pipe shows along with Mike Butera as they are very close friends. Hopefully your area still has a good tobacconist, too many are fading into the past.
