    Hey everyone,
I'm sure there are some new folks around who don't recognize me. I was and thankfully will continue to be an active member here since 2012. For all the folks that do know me, it's good to be welcome back. I'd rather not create or answer too many questions. Let's just say that Kevin and I had an understandable misunderstanding. We tried to resurrect my account but it was not possible. I'm glad to be welcome back here and hope to get to know some of the new people.
    Regards,
    Sam

    samcoffeeman:

The neighborhood here at the Forums may have changed somewhat in the interim since your departure, still, (to borrow from the lyrics to "Hello, Dolly!") it's so nice to have you back where you belong! And what did you miss while you were away? Well, as was previously described to another returning prodigal son, the list includes (but is not limited to): various gibes, wrangling, political discord, arguments, bannings, minor fisticuffs, sexual innuendo, jokes, puns (mostly bad), off-beat humor, political incorrectness, tales (tall and otherwise), and (believe-it-or-not) actual discussions of pipes, pipe-tobaccos, and pipe-smoking.

Jump back in and hang on!

That's great, glad to see you back!

I know what I need, smoke, I can't recall the last time I tasted it....Gandalf in the mines of Moria.

"we shall have to share pipes, as good friends must at a pinch'....'I keep a treasure or two near my skin, as precious as rings to me. Here's one: my old wooden pipe. And here's another an unused one...He held up a small pipe with a wide flattened bowl, and handed it to Gimli. 'Does that settle the score between us', said Merry. 'Most noble hobbit, it leaves me deep in your debt."

Director's Cut has made it to my rotating top 3 list of favourite tobaccos. I also really enjoyed Dockworker and Edward G.

Hi Sam, so you are the member who scored that 'EPIC' (as written) group Danish estate pipes?

@menuhin- Yes, I've had a few 'EPIC' scores. That one was 19 Stanwells, and a 7 day set each of Celius and Finn Meyan pipes, including some other odds and ends. The collection was all incredibly maintained and lightly smoked. I still have a Stanny and a Celius from that score. I usually keep one or two pipes from each epic score to remind me.
