Awoke this morning to an email that would be hard to beat. Ryan finished my blasted dublin, and I must say it turned out fantastic! Now just to wait on the mail man! Love the blast on this baby.

This is the first blast with my new compressor and cabinet. The compressor is 35 years old, just got her running 2 days ago!

Pipe is headed to the post office now. Hopefully the box won't take long to make the hours drive from here to there :P

Thanks fellas! Peck, I agree on the flakes. I had intended it for flakes from the moment I commissioned it. I'm debating on which open tin will start the break in. I'm leaning toward Astleys's #109, but Wessex Brigade Campaign is in the running as well.
Looking forward to it Ryan, I can tell you the postman cannot make the drive quick enough!
How dare I leave out a spec, but I just realized I did. The weight! Another feature of this pipe I look forward to, only 31 grams!!!

I always seem to like people's pipes when they post them on here, but Gosh Darn if that is not my ideal pipe I don't think one exists. I love the blast and color. The taper on the Dublin shape is just beautiful as well.

Wonderful lines and finish. I love straight Dublin pipes and that one is a beauty.

I was going to ask the weight, and then you posted it.
I'm not fond of straights in general, but that is one really gorgeous pipe and at 31 grams, well, terrific.
Good luck with it.

I'm looking for thick walls, conical bowl, and a diameter of .75" or less. I thought that was some far fetched tale about .75" or less being better for virginia's. That was until I started testing for myself and found there was more than a myth there. The flavor differences are noticeable.

I'd love to have it in my collection. I'd poke it full of Stokkebye's LNF!
