A couple weeks ago I purchased this pipe by way of eBay auction. I regretted the purchase the moment I "won". It arrived today and it's actually a nice little pipe. In the auction photos the pipe was shown at an angle which created an illusion of a longer shank, but it's much shorter than I'd imagined. I'm not at all complaining. I quite like this Ruthenberg.

Here's a photo from the auction....

And here's a photo I just took...

Looks like it could be a flake smoking machine. Nice thick walls and a nice looking stem. Depending on weight, it could be very nice for clenching. I can clench 55 grams on a straight pipe with a great stem very comfortably. How much does this pipe weigh in at? Congrats on a greaat addition to your collection.

Harris, it's certainly a fat little pipe tipping the scales at near 60 grams. It'll provide some serious workouts for the clenching muscles! I own quite a few pipes which, as a new pipe smoker, I'm simply not comfortable putting flame to and so I bought this one because I needed another pipe for use beyond just fondling and gushing over lol
Thanks everyone!!!

iamn8, almost 60 grams is not that heavy for clenching especially with one of Brians stems. Let us know how it smokes for you, I bet it is a killer smoker.
