Got a flyer in my order today and can't locate them on the P&C site. What's up, do these actually exist?
I guess there could be some of this going on, but when the price was talked about in another thread last week, Russ mentioned that the components for these blends is/was pretty pricey. That said, I just spent $150 to get ten 50gr pouches of Plug from GQ over here.Fear mongering produces price gouging
I rarely take offense at criticisms, but this is patently unfair. Straight St. James Perique (which is rarely used in blends today) is about twice as expensive as the typically used Acadian Perique. On top of that, these Periques are St. James varietals that were only made one year. The cost of the tobacco is, therefore, much higher due to cost of processing and the rarity of the leaf.Fear mongering produces price gouging
That sums up my opinion far better than any words I could write. :clap:We don't hesitate paying good money for small batch whiskey, because we know the work that went into it and the great pleasure that we get out out of it. Same thing here.
