Oh man I am so sorry Irish. I am so so sorry. That makes me kinda depressed now. My advice is to turn it into a piece of art. Maybe a wall plaque or something. Do you have a PayPal account? Maybe we can "pass the hat" so to speak and take up a collection for you. That wouldn't fix it but maybe help you out on the purchase of a new or estate Pete.
That is easily the worst case of pipe disrepair I have ever seen in my life. A pipe broke completely in half simply by falling on the floor.
