Here is very nice ROPP Favory, reasonably smoked, she was hiding a superb flame under the dirt. The logo, in red brass, indicates a high quality pipe by Ropp. Of course, this is not a master's craft but it is really the kind of pipes that I like, to my reach and for which I can fall in love

"Reasonably smoked"?

Errr...More like, seriously abused and very badly taken care of by the previous owner!!!!! [8O]
Regarding the inside part of the pipe, she was still in average/good condition. The oxydation issue comes always with pipes left at the sunlight during a long period.

I never cease to be amazed at what can be brought to life from the doldrums of disuse by a keen eye, a gentle hand and a kind heart.
