American slapstick holds a love it or hate it place in my comedy entertainment diet, and the Austin Powers trilogy was at the top of the love it pile. I'll never forget scenes like when Mini Me got inside Austin Powers' space suit or the Mini Me tripod scene. The cast must have had a blast putting those films together.

It's a distinct accomplishment for "little people" to find parts in major movies, but Verne Troyer did it, and did a masterful job. Talk about carrying the burden of human difference and making a celebration of it. It honors the part of each of that isn't cut to conventional specifications. He'll be getting laughs and appreciation far into the future.
